Daughter confesses to stabbing mother on camera during news report.

In an odd turn of events, Daughter confesses to stabbing her Mother Hilary Magacs on camera. A reporter for Knoxville, TN, CBS affiliate WVLT, was covering a stabbing at a local apartment complex when the victim’s daughter walked up and confessed on camera to trying to kill her mother. The reason for the stabbing? Satanic rituals. The daughter, Katie Nichols, said that her mother was the ring leader of the local satanic cult. Her mother apparently summoned satan to harm Katie and Katie’s daughter. However, Katie clearly believes her mother actually is the leader of a satanic chapter and believes the cult had been putting curses on her for some time now. Katie stabbed her mother multiple times, sending Hilary Magacs to the hospital.

Katie Nichols did not just want to hurt her mother either. She clearly planed to kill Hilary. Katie Nichols told Magacs she stabbed her mother because she believed her mom was the ringleader of a local satanic cult. “When I left, she was still breathing. I stabbed her three times and she should have died,” said Nichols. “She was still breathing. I don’t know what happened to her afterwards or where they took her, but she was the antichrist — she did not die.” Nichols’ mother was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Daughter confesses to stabbing on live TV, but that’s missing the point.

What I find most disturbing about this event is not that the daughter confesses to stabbing her mother during a live news taping. What I find most interesting the reasons for the stabbing. Katie Nichols has completely faith that satanic curses were out to get her. So much faith that she was willing to murder her own mother.
